Job Description:
- Build data pipelines for optimal storage and retrieval to meet business requirements
- Build reliable, scalable, CICD-driven streaming and batch data engineering pipelines
- Assist in developing high-quality, high-performing, and secure data integration and ETL processes and conduct complex data analysis
- Work closely with researchers, ML engineers, and application developers to gather requirements to prototype, develop, validate, and build systems for collecting, validating, and preparing high-quality data
- Proactively anticipate problems and appropriately communicate with the team and management in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent professional experience
- Have a good understanding of Python concepts
- Good understanding of SQL & NoSQL concepts
- Exposure to ML libraries, including Pandas, SciPy, NumPy, etc
- Understanding of version control is preferred; GIT
- Basic understanding of ETL concepts
- Basic understanding of Spark
